VACANCIES FOR FULL/PART-TIME ACCOUNTANTS

 

We currently have vacancies for experienced Accountants in our offices based on Patrick Street, Kilkenny.

We are looking for bright enthusiastic candidates with either experience gained at practice level or in the industry. As part of a working

team, you will need to be a good communicator, flexible, can-do attitude, and full knowledge of Microsoft, Sage 50 and Sage Accounts

Production. As well as working from the office, there is flexibility to work from home from time to time.

Part-Time Accountant qualified by experience and/or relevant qualification

We have an Accounts Preparation and Taxation unit dealing with the preparation of Annual Accounts and filing obligations with Taxation affairs for a variety of clients based in both Ireland and the UK. We are looking to hand over a portfolio of farming clients mainly in the Bloodstock sector.

 

Skill Requirements:

• Experience with dealing with clients and their affairs professionally. 

• Knowledge of company secretarial obligations and statutory obligations regarding companies and individuals. 

• Comprehensive day to day knowledge of the taxation guidelines governing PAYE, VAT Corporation Tax, and Income Tax.

Full-Time Accounts Assistant qualified by experience and/or relevant qualification

We also have a bookkeeping and accounting bureau, handling the accounting function for a variety of clients dealing in companies ranging from Farming to Professional services. We offer clients the full range of accounting services including sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, vat returns, payroll, and completion of management accounts. 

 

Skill Requirements:

• Experience with requesting information from clients in a comprehensive and organised manner and the ability to compile consistent and complete records from raw data.

• Knowledge of Sage 50 essential.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite essential

• Effective communication

• Knowledge of ROS and dealing with revenue queries 

 

We will also consider part-time experienced candidates for this role.
